Description
One enters this plane across a long bridge, called the Bifrost. Crossing it and gaining entrance brings the traveler to the first layer, called Himinborg

This is a land of green prairies surrounded by a great body of water, much like Elysium. It is a land where many good warriors go when they die.

Unlike many other planes, one can travel to any of the other layers os Asgard from its first layer. One does not progress through Asgard. One travels to its destinations via its non-hierarchical configuration.

Layers
Himinborg - This is the first layer of Asgard. It is ruled by Heimdallur. From here, travelers can go to any other layer in Asgard.

Asgard - While Asgard is the name for the entire plane, it also is the name of its most popular layer. It is the home of several gods, like Odin, Thor, F

Vanaheim - This is a layer of fertility, wisdom, and those beings who can see the future, called Vanir. It has lush vegetation and exquisitly beautiful growths.

Alfheim - This is a home for elves. It is strangely connected to the Ethergreen.

Nidavellir (Svartalfheim)- This is a land of dwarves. It is strangely connected to the Elemental Plane of Earth

Jotunheim - The "lowest" plane of Asgard, as it borders Nun. It is now an icy realm that is home to frost giants.

Common Inhabitants
The following creatures are common in this plane: good souls, a myriad of demi-gods, and lesser and greater gods. It is thought there are bronze dragons here.

Heimdallur (god)
Gaurdian of the Bifrost Bridge
He is a shining white-skinned Asgardian.
    He is the watcher across the Bifrost Bridge. He can see and hear across great distances to sense who approaches Asgard. He is essentially Asgard's doorman.

Thor (god)
God of Thunder
He is a red-bearded Asgardian of great strength who is quick to anger.
    He is the son of Odin. His domain is thundar and lightening. Thor uses a magical hammer, called Mjolnir.

Odin (god)
Father of the Gods, All-Father
He is an aged Asgardian with a long beard who wears a patch over one eye.
    Odin is the ruler of the gods in Asgard. He can see the future. He often carries a spear, named Gungnir.
