Description
The Elemental Plane of Earth is a vast and varied realm, composed primarily of rock, but also featuring earth, peat, mud, and other substances. Its inhabitants have carved out a complex network of caverns and tunnels, creating a labyrinthine world of their own. However, this world is not without its dangers, as earthquakes can cause these spaces to collapse without much warning.

Common Inhabitants
The following creatures are common in this plane: earth elementals, basilisks, gargoyles, stone giants, dwarves (special), kobolds, giant worms, xorn, and hundreds of thousands of species of other animals.

Unique Inhabitants
Gurgilth - This is an intelligent, lawful neutral burrowing lizard (40' long) that has six legs and a long crocodile-like head. Its goals are unknown.

Mepivon - He is an ancient, massive gargoyle that rules a city of his kind with an iron fist.

Locations of Interest
Great Dams - Thousands of giant beavers work near the Elemental Plane of Water. They build damns and harness the power of great rivers.

Ranglass - Near the intersection with the Elemental Plane of Air resides a great forest of soul trees.
