Naturally occuring barrier islands present a calm coastline for Anemos. Green staggered slopes across the island are tended by dedicated farmhands. Windmills capture the energy of the wind. It is the place where mighty wind meets fertile ground.

Anemos, Chain of Islands, Sea of Fate |
Its name means "wind." This is a fitting name for the island because it captures the winds for its southern positioned windmills. However, this is actually a cluster of islands that focus on farming. Anemos is approximately 50 miles southwest of Trofi.
The windy weather has not always been the conditions of these islands. It is believed the cyclonic activity in the air and water to the immediate south in the Sea of Fate is the cause. This is why clerics of Timitheos make a pilgrimage to Anemos once a year.
It produces wheat, hulled barley, millet (in areas with greater rainfall). Chickpeas, grapes, and lentils are grown. Fruit (apples, pears, pomegranates), vegetables (cucumbers, onions, garlic), and nuts (almonds and walnuts) are grown.
There are no proper taverns, bars, or inns here. However, local farmers have accommodations for farmhands, which also can serve travelers. Here are costs for a room/day with breakfast and dinner: low end (2 s pp), acceptable (3 s pp), and comfortable (5 s pp). Farmers can always use more hands; so, travelers can instead work for lodging, food, and a pittance of 2s/day for unskilled labor.
Rumors
- Farmhands speaks of whispers in the night. The murmered sounds of chanting can be heard, as if carried on the wind from a distance far away.
